About the Author
Meg Haston survived braces and glasses in middle school; whether she rocked them is debatable. She did go on to rock other things, including but not limited to slap bracelets, a B.S. in Communication Studies from Northwestern University, and an M.Ed. in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia.
How to Rock Braces and Glasses is her first novel, with a hardcover sequel, How to Rock Break-Ups and Make-Ups following the paperback of book #1 a month later in October 2012.

High four stars - Title alone earns one star!

Fast and fun - filled with brand names and cute clothes. Story of 8th grade queen bee Kacey Simon, who gets to experience life on the other side of the tracks, with glasses and a "lithp" due to dental appliances. Lots of pop culture and music references. The banter is amazingly sophisticated and self-aware for 8th graders. Flighty fun, and the best title I've come across in a while. Way to rock a first book, Ms. Haston.

I loved this book. I love it because I love to sing and I wish there were more moments were Kacey a d Zander do a cute duet together.
The first time I read this book, I thought to myself: "Oh great. Another one of THESE stories" but it was nothing I expected. I almost broke into tears and I didn't want to put it down!! I loved it and I hope to be a great authof just like you :)

HOW TO ROCK braces and glasses

I really liked this book because it was a story about a girl who was popular, went to the bottom of the social chain, then came back up again where she said she belonged.I didn't really think was a story on HOW TO ROCK them but mostly on her life on how she gets them, deals with them, and gets rid of them.
